What is an active course?
Active courses determine what students see when they log in. While students can be licensed to multiple courses, only the active courses appear front and center on their student dashboard.

Which courses are active by default?
When students are added to a homeroom course, their active courses are updated as follows:

How do I view and update active courses?
1: Open Class Management and navigate to your class.
2: Click the Curriculum tab. This tab displays each student's active courses and language settings.
3: Click the Edit button on a student's row to update active courses for that student.
4: Select multiple rows and click Update Active Courses to make changes for multiple students at once.
5: Click to add or remove the green checkmark that indicates a course is active.
Note: The Pre-Reader and I Can Read courses are designed to be used sequentially. You’ll see a warning if you set both as active for a student.
6: Click Confirm to save your changes.
