The new MyF2B app gives students and families one simple place to access everything Footsteps2Brilliance. Whether you’re a teacher with students at different levels or a family with children in different grades, there’s now just one app for all of your learners.

As each student logs in, they are automatically guided to the books, games, and assignments that are right for them—across all programs.

Student Experience

Students of all ages and levels can now use the same app to see just the content that’s right for them. Assignments and grade-appropriate curriculum are front and center to guide independent learning.

Highlights for students:

1: Assignments appear in the “From My Teacher” mailbox. When a student has an active assignment, their courses are locked until the assignment is complete. If needed, teachers and families can unlock a course on that device for the day.
2: The mailbox closes and the student’s courses automatically unlock when assignments are complete.
3: A new Active Course feature ensures that students only see the content that is appropriate for them. Each student is automatically assigned course(s) based on the grade level of their homeroom class. Teachers can adjust active courses and languages anytime in Class Management.

Family Experience

Now it’s easier than ever for families to get started and support multiple children, even if they’re in different grades. The new family features make managing accounts and launching learning fast and intuitive.

Highlights for families:

1: Families can get started directly in the app.  To get started, families simply click Create My Family Account and complete the registration process. Alternatively, families can start by signing in with Google or Apple.
2: When family registration is complete, a parent can click Yes to keep the app logged in.
3: Tap Who is playing today? and hand the device off to a child.
4: To switch between children, simply click the Menu button, and My Family to return to the list of children.
5: The app can easily be set up for offline play by downloading a course with one click.

Teacher and Admin Experience

For teachers and administrators, the new MyF2B app offers a perfect complement to Footsteps2Brilliance Central.

This is the main tool for families and students.

• Students: access all curriculum and assignments.
• Families: manage a family account, and access all curriculum and assignments for students
• Teachers and Administrators: explore the student experience, prepare for offline use, or hand off to students–no password required.

Highlights for teachers and admins:

1: When you log into the MyF2B app as a teacher or admin, you have quick access to F2B Central, or you can explore all of the courses available within your license.
2: My Students feature in the menu makes it easy for teachers to access student reports or to log in as a student.

Can I continue to use Clever Kids U and F2B School Edition apps?

Yes. You can continue to use the original apps for now. However, we will not be updating them. We strongly recommend that you move to the new MyF2B platform for new features and ongoing improvements. We plan to end support for the original apps in 2026. 

How does this affect reports?

Reports will seamlessly report usage and proficiency, no matter which app students and families access.

What happens to my progress in the original apps (Clever Kids U and Footsteps2Brilliance School Edition)?

Students can move seamlessly between the original apps and the new MyF2B app without losing progress. 

Does the new app allow students to continue learning offline?

Yes! The MyF2B app supports offline learning. Moreover, the new one-click download for each course makes it even easier to set up your device for offline use.

Which course(s) are set active by default?

When students are added to a homeroom course, their active courses are updated.
