Do I need a data plan to use MyF2B on a smartphone or tablet?

No. Once you install the MyF2B app and download books and games in a Wi Fi environment, you and your students can use the MyF2B app at any time without Wi Fi or a data plan.

Periodically, you may need Wi Fi to:

• Update the App.
• Download new books, songs, games, and activities to use on your device.
• Upload student progress into the Footsteps2Brilliance reports. (Your progress is saved on your device while you work offline until the device connects to Wi Fi.)*

*When many students use MyF2B on a device every day, the device can collect a lot of data. We recommend connecting classroom devices to Wi Fi at least once a week, so that reports are up to date.
