How does an admin turn off the language toggle button?

Modified on Wed, 30 Jul at 3:51 PM

By default, students see an English-Spanish toggle button on most screens in Footsteps2Brilliance and Clever Kids U. Teachers and administrators can set the app to only one language and remove the toggle button for students.

To adjust a student's language toggle button, click Class Management

Click the Manage Class button for the desired class to view the students.

Students' current language toggle settings are displayed under the Curriculum tab.

Under Curriculum, you can select one or multiple students and click Update Languages to select the desired language toggle setting for the student(s).

You can click on the drop down menu to choose from English/Spanish, English Only, or Spanish Only

If a student is set to only one language, they will no longer see the language toggle button in any program, including both Footsteps2Brilliance and Clever Kids University.

Note that I Can Read: Daily Lessons provides a systematic and explicit phonics sequence to read in English. We recommend that students using that program always have access to English.
